The designers of this light and spacious house have used traditional building methods of the region to create a contemporary house with an interior executed in a simple minimal style. The dining / living space opens out onto a 50 metre terrace with barbecue area. Visitors have views of mountains all around, with sunshine falling onto the terrace and shade being provided by a beautiful olive tree.
The house can be found in Las Alpujarras, an area that has a very special microclimate creating lush planting with citrus trees. The area is famed for its flat roofed Arabic villages that cluster into the gentle mountain ranges. There are beautiful walks all around and a visit to the Alhambra can be easily done in a day. The almond blossom in February is breathtaking, as is the olive harvesting in Dec / Jan. A selection of good restaurants can be found in nearby Orgiva.
Please note that the pool is only usually open from April to September, although it can be opened at other times upon request.
