New holiday property: Factory Studio, Berlin

This studio conversion by KHBT, in a vibrant area in east Berlin, occupies the ground floor of a listed factory building dating back to 1908. Many of the building’s original features, including the glazed brick façade, brick pillars and exposed concrete ceilings remain intact, whilst a sculptural element divides the large living space at the front of the studio and the more intimate living spaces at the back, retaining the high ceilings and open-plan feel. The studio, which is now fully finished, and fitted with a high-end sound system, has direct access to an outside terrace area. It is located in Friedrichshain, close to Alexanderplatz, Mitte and Kreuzberg, all historic districts with many architectural landmarks, museums boutique shopping areas, restaurants and bars.

The house sleeps up to five people. For more information, including prices and details of how to book, visit The Modern House.
