What We're Seeing: Lubetkin in Clerkenwell

Arriving in London in 1931, Berthold Lubetkin swiftly became one of Britain’s most important modernist architects.

The Tecton Group, the practice he co-founded a year after his arrival, completed their first project at London Zoo, and worked throughout the decade and into the Second World War, focusing on architecture as a tool for social justice and progress.

These tours on 12th October and 14th November, take in two of Lubetkin’s iconic buildings in Clerkenwell and offer a chance to go inside Bevin Court.
