The property is a listed 18th-century country residence that has been carefully extended by the acclaimed architect Michael Wigginton with the addition of a sleek glass extension at the rear. The quality of materials used throughout the house is particularly notable. The latter detail has been used to create, according to Wigginton, "the (nearly) frameless appearance [of the structure]".
There is a good garden at the property and ample parking. The house is attached on one side to a small cottage.
